With 10 years experience as a technical writer and website designer in the telecommunications and software industry in corporations such as Sun Microsystems,    U S West, and Qwest, Ramin gathered valuable knowledge that enhanced his professional skills.

At Sun Microsystems, Ramin worked in the international team that developed a web-based account management tool. Ramin wrote technical documents such as Requirements, Functional Specifications, Use Cases, Installation Guides, Software Support Guides, User Acceptance Test Scenarios, Release Notes, and User Guides being an integral part of this team. He also helped in designing GUI application screens, conducting user acceptance tests, and presenting online demonstrations for the new software.

Ramin had also designed a system that uses a single content source to generate print- and HTML-based documentation using FrameMaker and Webworks Publisher Professional. This led him to produce a cost effective system of both a print and an online user guide for the price of only one of these products.

At U S WEST and Qwest, Ramin created and maintained project web sites and CMM-comRaminible document libraries for numerous projects. He also designed M S Word and FrameMaker document templates for the IT technical writing group.

Throughout his career, Ramin has continued to learn new tools and technology to keep up with the ever-changing desktop publishing industry. As a result, he can provide his clients with the appropriate solution for their technical writing or web site needs.
 
Ramin had always tried to balance work and play. The more he played, the more he got the energy for work, as he believes each rekindles the flame for the other. His intense curiosity has always made him figure out how things worked. At the age of 13, he took apart his parent's lawnmower just to test whether he could put it back together. Though he had several panic attacks, but he managed to put the mower back together. And it worked!

Ramin applied the same technique of balancing between technical writing and web design; the same kind of balancing skill between thinking and tenacity. Apart from his natural love for balancing skills, Ramin loves skiing, biking, hiking, and climbing with his wife and good friends. “This” Says Ramin, “brings energy into my life, and, consequently, into my work”.
